Anna-Katharina Hornidge appointed to German Commission for UNESCO

Anna-Katharina Hornidge, Director of the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) was selected as a new member of the German Commission for UNESCO (DUK). The DUK serves as a bridge between civil society, the state and the international working areas of UNESCO. The focus is on the protection and sustainable development of the cultural heritage and the promotion of education that fosters equal opportunities.
